We got Netflix yesterday afternoon loaded on our new bedroom Xbox360! Very exciting opportunity to watch movies and TV shows without commercials and without having to take up more storage space in our already cramped apartment.
My Fluffy and I watched Michael Jackson's This Is It, and I once again found myself realizing why he is the King of Pop. I decided that he doesn't sing and dance, he sings with his whole body. Every note of every instrument plays a part and every body part plays to the instrumentation of his music. That my, friends, is a work of art. He (was) the definition of a true artist. His performances had soul. I miss him and always will.
Gene Kelly once explained that in order to dance in time to the music, you have to be a little ahead of it. MJ definitely danced that way. As a result, his dancing conveyed more meaning with each step because he had time to put his soul in every step. if you dance and sing, do it with heart. Don't just do it to perform.
